Pet me, love me, feed me...
That's all I need - in return you have my unconditional love...
Lay around all day waiting for your arrival home...
Once home I howl telling you my day in full detail...
You pat my head, rub my tummy, tell me its alright...
A knock at the door I bark letting you know someone is there...
Providing protection from strangers at the door...
At night I lie by your side occasionally looking for a pat on the head...
I'm your friend, I'm your protector, I'm your companion, I'm your dog...

- Two years ago could walk on any basketball court and challenge anyone and compete. Two years ago would go to any ski resort looking for the steepest, deepest runs and cruise down. Started getting a little weaker in my left arm but thought nothing of it. In May 2007 three words changed my life *Motor Neuron Disease* at first you say "so, what does that mean?" then you start looking at the definition - not good... So this is my story, my family, my friends, my community with some insight too - hope you enjoy!!
